University of Maine at Fort Kent Junior Nursing Students completing their clinical rotations on Cary Medical Center’s Maternal/Child Floor, were all able to view a delivery during the first two days at the hospital as five new babies were born and occupying the nursery at the same time earlier this month. The students are, (front, l-r), Kristin Plante, Lexi Desjardins, Lauren St. Laurent, Michaella Gilbert, Nathalie Michaud, and Kelsey Gifford; (back, l-r), Lise Albert and Erin Pierce. Newborns with Cary Nursing staff are, (middle, l-r), Makenna Butler with Keyleigh Bennett, RN; Alec Drake with Amy Jackson, RN; Warren Beckum with Nicole Theriault, RN and UMFK Clinical Instructor; Peyton Dufour with Megan Cormier, RN, and Aubrey McLaughlin with Stephanie Raymond, RN. Over 200 babies have already been delivered at Cary this year, the fourth consecutive year for the busy nursery!
