Pink Plate Food Festival Fundraiser!

Please join us in fundraising for breast cancer patients in Aroostook County, by coming to our first ever Pink Aroostook “Pink Plate” food festival. This event will be held on June 29th, 2025 from 11am-3pm at the Caribou Rec Center Overflow Lot. This is located at 55 Bennett Dr, Caribou ME 04736.

Vendor Information:

  • You can begin setting up at the Caribou Rec Center parking lot at 7:00am on June 29th. Doors open to the public at 11am.
  • There is no registration fee, understanding the cost of the food samples will be a donation to Pink Aroostook (available for tax write off). You are welcome to accept tips!
  • You will prepare a minimum of 200 bite sized food samples for the ticket holders to try.
  •  Each vendor will have their own outdoor spot with a table. You may bring a tent to protect your station from the wind. A table and tablecloth will be provided if you are unable to bring your own. If you are willing to set up multiple booths, you are absolutely able to.
  • There is electricity if you choose to use any portable cooking or cooling devices.
  • Each entrance ticket comes with 5 votes (raffle tickets that will be received upon entry to the festival) that the ticket holder will give to the vendors that have their favorite food/drink sample. Voting will be entirely up to their discretion, although I would suggest you focus on taste, creativity, and presentation.
  • The votes will be tallied by the Cary Medical Center Public Relations Department at the conclusion of the event at 3:00pm. The booth with the most votes from the public will win a $1000 grand prize!
  • In the event of inclement weather, we will move indoors to the Rec Center gymnasium.
  • Consider designing your samples with a breast cancer awareness flare, such as a pink ribbon on top or a pink hue. This is where you can get creative!
  • No proof of vendor license or insurance certificate is needed.
  • Any business in Aroostook County is eligible for entry.

The undersigned hereby agrees to abide by the event rules and regulations and hereby discharges release Pink Aroostook, Cary Medical Center, and the town of Caribou from all manner of actions, suits, damages, claims and demands, whatsoever, in law and in equity to damage or loss to person and to undersigned property while in possession, supervision of the Pink Plate event, its agents and representative. Do you agree to these terms?
Requirements: No Vendor shall be a nuisance to its neighbors or customers by excessive noise, odor, refuse, or other causes. Failure to sell or exhibit what the contract states will be just reason for removal of product and/or vendor. No obscene displays or behavior are allowed. Sample foods distributed must be in compliance with state and federal law. Vendors will assume responsibility for such compliance. Vendors must follow food safety protocols. Food vendors agree to allow use of video and photography taken by Pink Plate Festival organizers at the event for promotional purposes. All Food vendors deep frying must have fire extinguishers. Applicants shall serve food at their own risk. You must post an ingredients list on your table as a safety measure for allergies. Intoxicating substances are prohibited.
