We are currently recruiting for a Prior Authorization Specialist to join our Prior Authorization Department. Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to Cary Medical Center’s vision and mission by modeling the values and culture of the organization. Qualified candidates for this position will be responsible for obtaining pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for procedures and medications, scheduling appointments for outpatient testing with other providers, and coordinates appointments with orders.
License/Educational/Experience/Skill Requirements:
1.High School Diploma or GED
2.Associates Degree, Medical Office Specialist preferred
3.Prior authorization or Pre-certification preferred
4.Experience in a medical related field preferred
